My favorite pair of shoes aren’t expensive. They’re worn, creased, and honest. They’ve been on rooftops while I worked. They’ve walked into rooms where I had nothing but faith. They’ve carried me through long days and longer nights. They didn’t take me somewhere flashy. They took me forward.
